This is one one of the unreleased recordings we did in Daniel Lanois' Basement studio in Ancaster, Ontario, round about 1972. Belle was my first dog I was raised with. She was Fully sheep farm trained and a wonderful pet. When she was very old we went on holiday and had her boarded in a kennel for her comfort. She died in the kennel, and it broke our hearts. My mother claimed it was because she thought she was being abandoned. Talk about guilt.
