These are all of Finland’s Standard service rifles over the last century • Starting off with the Mosin Nagant M/91. This was a bolt action, took 5 rounds and fired 7.62x54mmR . It’s rather a special rifle as it was used in the Finnish Civil war to secure Finland’s independence from Soviet Russia which ultimately ended in 1920 with the signing of the Treaty of Tartu. • Over the following years, Finland improved this model using higher quality finnish birch for the stock, using their own cartridge, 7.62x53 when their old mosin barrels wore out amongst other changes. • Finland continued improving and developing the Mosin making the famous M/28-30, the rifle used by the greatest sniper to ever liver, Simo Hayha who attained over 500 kills during the winter war and the M/39, a rifle heavily used by Finland for WW2, completely redesigning the stock, sights, barrel, handguard and more. Basically creating a deluxe mosin nagant. • But in the 1960s Finland designed their own rifle, the RK 62. This was the main inspiration behind Israel’s IMI Galil. It fired 7.62x39, took a 30 round mag, could fire full or semi auto and was basically a higher quality AK. They even had tritium night sights. This has been improved upon over the years notably with the M1,2 and 3 variants adding more attachment options with the addition of rails, improving the handguards and adding the Ase Ultra Borelock Flash hider that can accommodate a silencer or rebar cutter. • Music: ‘japanese jazzy lofi type beat‘ by ‘Kitsune’ • • (no copyright music) japanese jazzy l... • Listen everywhere: • https://lofihiphop.de/kitsune • For more Copyright Free Music visit: • https://youtube.tamamusic.com
