DHAKA SESSIONS is excited to present the pop-funk-hiphop fusion sounds of the Toronto based Bangladeshi favorite - Farooque Bhai Project. • What started with the strumming of a few chords on a ukulele and a poem during the final year at university in Canada turned into the Farooque Bhai Project. The project came on to the scene in 2018 with the debut single shokaleo , which also featured in the anthology film 'Sincerely Yours Dhaka' on NetFlix. • Later that year, Farooque Bhai released an album - obostha bujhe bebostha , followed by the single golapi' in 2019 and the EP Gin bhoot Tonic in 2020. • Farooque Bhai Project's performance showcases why we fell in love with him. With his charisma, the wacky and wicked lyrics, and the cool flow of music - this is one awesome episode.
