Psaro's Castle has some fairly challenging enemies, but the encounter rate seems to be quite low. This place is not as long as the Doorway to Nadiria, the cave that we went through earlier. • In the castle's entrance hall, don't forget to use Maya's Safe Passage spell to avoid damage from the shocking floor panels. • As the party heads down the eastern corridor, Borya reaches Level 29 (time index 1:57). • After going south through the eastern corridor, the party finds a stairway (time index 2:44). Upstairs, they head out onto the eastern balcony. Going past a skeleton, they go through a doorway in the northeast. Then, going through the rear hallway, they come to a hall with a spirit and a stairway leading down (time index 3:04). • As they arrive at this spot, Meena reaches Level 29 and learns Insulatle (time index 4:18). • Afterwards, the party heads down the nearby stairway (time index 5:10). The floor below is filled with poisonous muck. In the southern part of the floor, a chest contains Mini Medal #57 (time index 5:22). • Back upstairs, the party heads into the small room to the east and goes up the stairs (time index 5:44). They go south through the upstairs hallway and exit onto the balcony. Then, they take the neighboring door back into the castle. After that, they pass through the lift and go up the stairs to the north. • Upstairs (time index 5:55), they find themselves in a corridor with demonic statues. Pushing one of these statues aside reveals a secret door! In the room beyond, they head downstairs. • On the lower level (time index 6:13), they head southwest to the next room and then go farther downstairs. Outside on the west balcony, they open a chest to find one of the best items in the entire castle: the Sage's Stone! It will heal some damage to every ally in battle. I have done the final battle without this item, and believe me, I definitely recommend having it. • After collecting the Sage's Stone, the party backtracks to the corridor with the statues (time index 7:10). There, they take the southeastern exit onto the castle's balcony. East of there, they take another door back into the castle. There, they find a couple of treasure chests containing an Yggdrasil Leaf and a Lightning Staff (time index 7:19). • That done, they return to the lift on the third floor (time index 8:06). This time, they press the switch on the lift's floor and ride it down to the second floor. This allows them to cross to the southern part of the second floor. A little to the east, they can take a corridor north to a stairway leading up. • Upstairs (time index 8:29), there is the body of an unfortunate soldier. There, they take the elevator down to the lower floor. Immediately, they return upstairs via the stairway and use the roof of the elevator to cross to the northern side, where they take a stairway up. Upstairs, they immediately continue to the next floor. • Up on the fifth floor (time index 9:09), they go west down the hall and then towards the door. Along the way, Ragnar McRyan reaches Level 30 (time index 10:38). After taking the door outside, they will be on the castle's top-level balcony. A few steps to the west, there is a door leading to a tunnel set in the cliff that the castle is built into. At the other end of the tunnel, a door leads outside. • The party will now be on a peninsula in the midst of a lava lake north of Psaro's Castle (time index 11:16). To the north is Psaro's Mountain, where the final battle waits! This is where Baron's Bugle comes into play. If you play the Bugle here, the Wagon will appear so that you can change party members during the final battle. • Thanks for watching! • This video is part of my Dragon Quest IV Playthrough playlist.
