I've made cord up to 12ft long, using this technique. It's quick, cheap, and easy. Cordage is useful for everything-- tying clothes together ( pointing your hose), tying shoes, working as a rope belt, bundling your blankets, and carrying things... like my new ceramic costrel (aka canteen, pilgrim bottle, pilgrim flask) from ‪@ReannagTeine‬
