NAZ Solar Electric is happy to provide this safe, reliable, and economical lithium battery option to its lineup of lithium batteries. • In this video, we take a closer look at the Pytes e-box lithium battery, which is a new addition to our product catalog. This battery is an excellent option for off-grid grid-tied battery backup ESS and other battery applications. The Pytes lithium battery is our most competitively priced battery in terms of dollar per kilowatt hour. It has a very modular design, making it easy to start small and add more batteries to your system over time. The battery is compact and small, with a server rack-style format, making it easy to maneuver and move around as needed. It can be mounted in almost any orientation and flipped over on its side or on end. • The Pytes battery is a lithium iron phosphate battery and has integrated BMS. It is compatible with pretty much all 48-volt nominal equipment and is rated at 5.12-kilowatt hours of total energy storage, which equates to about 100 amp hours of capacity. It has a half-C or a 50 amp maximum continuous charge and discharge rate as well as a 1C or around a 100 amp peak discharge rate for a limited amount of time for a surge. • The battery is about 24 and a half inches long, roughly 17 and a quarter inches wide, and only about four and a half inches tall. It weighs about 113 pounds on its own, and Pytes backs its batteries with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. • The battery has a master power switch, a chassis ground lug, dip switches for setting the specific communication protocol, a start switch that takes the battery in and out of standby mode, LED indicators, an alarm light, a run light, state of charge lights, communication ports, and DC positive and DC negative power terminals. • Related products to the Pytes batteries include the e-box racks, which are installed on the front and the back of the battery and allow you to stack the batteries in a tower one on top of the other. You get a set of wall mount brackets, grounding chassis grounding cable, battery-to-battery communications cable, and battery-to-battery power cable with each individual Pytes battery. • Pytes does offer several other options that are available for storing or mounting the batteries, and they have their battery Hub that is a component that is required anytime you have eight or more Pytes batteries in a common system. The Hub is there essentially to better manage the battery-to-battery communications and also the battery bank-to-inverter system communications. • If you have any questions on the Pytes batteries or are curious about using batteries in a system of your own, our engineering and design team can assist with equipment selection, system commissioning, plan set generation, and much more. We hope you enjoyed taking a closer look at the Pytes e-box lithium batteries. • About Us: We are NAZ Solar Electric, formerly known as Northern Arizona Wind and Sun (NAWS).
