The King Con Express is a detachable six-person chairlift located on the Park City Mountain side of Park City Mountain Resort. The chairlift runs from just below the Miners Camp Lodge to the top of the King Con trail. The chairlift primarily serves its own pod of mostly wide-open intermediate trails. From the top of the chairlift, skiers and riders can also access the bottom of the Silverlode chairlift, the Quicksilver Gondola for access to Canyons, the Miners Camp Lodge, and the Park City Mountain Village Base Area. The chairlift was installed by Doppelmayr in 2015, replacing the 1993 Garaventa CTEC high-speed quad of the same name, which is now operating as the Motherlode Express chairlift at the resort. • Park City Mountain Resort is a ski resort located in Park City, Utah. The resort is located in western Summit County and is located about a 45-minute drive east of the state's capital and largest city, Salt Lake City. The resort spans two separate areas connected by a gondola: Park City Mountain and Canyons. Park City Mountain rises up from near the center of town, serving a large variety of trails through the area for all ability levels. Meanwhile, Canyons is located a few miles north of town and has a more horizontal, spread-out layout. Canyons caters more to intermediates, with a variety of blue runs located across the area. Plenty of advanced terrain can also be found, however, with the most extreme runs being located off of the famous 9990 Express chairlift, which exclusively serves double-black terrain. The two areas were separately owned until 2014 when Vail Resorts, the owner of Canyons at the time, purchased the Park City Mountain area from Powdr Corporation, after multiple years of litigation involving the Powdr's lease on the land. Then, in 2015, the Quicksilver Gondola was built between the two sides, joining the two ski areas together for the first time. Park City Mountain was also a venue for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, hosting multiple skiing and snowboarding events. Since the resort is owned by Vail Resorts, the resort is on the Epic Pass with the full pass granting unlimited access to the resort. • Manufacturer: Doppelmayr • Year of Installation: 2015 • Vertical: 1,216 ft • Length: 4,438 ft • Estimated Duration in Recording: 6:15 • Estimated Speed in Recording: 845 ft/min • Design Speed: 1,000 ft/min • Capacity: 3,400 per hour • Filmed on December 28, 2021 • Filmed on the GoPro Hero 9 Black with the Max Lens Mod attached
