This classic candy is usually made with saltines but after some experimenting I found I really love it with Ritz the best!! • Here’s the recipe!! • Pre heat oven to 400 degrees • 25-40 Ritz crackers lined up on a foil covered baking sheet • In a small sauce pan add 1 stick of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt and stir on low until butter is melted • Once butter is melted stop stirring and turn heat to medium, once the mixture begins to boil set a timer for 3 minutes • After 3 minutes remove mixture from the fire and pour onto crackers, spread evenly • Place tray in the oven for 5 minutes • Now add about 1-1 1/2 cups of your favorite chocolate • Place in the oven for 2 more minutes and then spread the chocolate evenly • Let set in the fridge for about 5-10 minutes • Break into pieces and enjoy!! • #christmascrack #ritzcrackertoffee #ritzcrackers #candymaking #christmascandy #ediblechristmasgifts #candygifts #bakedbyprecious #homemadecandy
