After thinking he killed Iceman, Warren doesn't attack Apocalypse and just flies off, instead becoming a lone anti-hero. Scott beats himself up over losing Warren and not being able to save Bobby, only for Jean Gray to tell him to snap out of it and go find Warren. Warren's reign of terror continues, killing a bloodthirsty gang of Morlocks and anyone else associated with crime. Finally, Scott, Beast, and Jean stop him before he kills a street gang, only for Warren to paralyze Scott and nearly kill Beast, making it clear he'll take down anyone in his way. Later, Warren learns that his girlfriend Candy has been kidnapped by Hodge and his anti-mutant organization The Right, and, after some ruthless clue searching, finally tracks their base down, to find it's swarming with demons. He fights off the hordes and kills Hodge, but is too late to save Candy. He finds Hodge was consorting with Nastirh, who offers him a place in his legions when Inferno begins. But Warren, realizing how far he's fallen, refuses, dragging them both into an unfinished portal that vaporizes them. Thus Inferno has been averted and Warren is seen as a hero again. Sorry, this one's awful. The story is overly basic and barely anything happens. But the clincher is that the artwork is so shadowy and badly colored, I can barely tell what's going on from panel to panel! Skip this one and go read Revelations instead.
