A while ago I made a video on the Singer 99, 66 and 185 with a lot of side info. • Link: • Introduction to and treading a Singer... • Important note: The Singer 66 is a full sized machine. The 99 is the same as the 66, but smaller (3/4 sized). Later the Singer 99 was replaced by the 185, which was the same as the 99 only in a different shell. • The letter indicates the factory the machine was built in. The letter K stands for Kilbowie (Scotland), J for St.Jean (Quebec) and so on. More on the topic there your Singer was built in this video: • Where was my Singer sewing machine made? • A viewer asked me to post a video on the threading path specific. • No loud music, no voice over with background information, nor any other distraction. • In the other, longer, video (link in the second line) I will tell you more, like what needle to use, how to wind a bobbin and so on. • If you have any questions: Drop me a line. • Take care, Erik
