Motsoaledi speaks on maternal deaths reports due to blood loss

According to the latest maternity audits, almost 16 percent of mothers who die before or shortly after birth die from blood loss. A third of these women die during or after caesarean deliveries and in 70 percent of cases, deaths during C-sections could be prevented. In most instances, lack of skills among doctors and a shortage of resources, especially in rural hospitals.
