Kathmandu (Nepal)June 17(ANI):The student union of opposition CPN-UML , All Nepal National Free Students Union burnt effigy of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba against the decision of poll deferral. The AANFSU on Friday came out on the street raising slogans against the newly formed and incomplete cabinet. They burnt the effigy of the former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal along with chairing Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba claiming them to be working as per the direction by external forces. The opposition student wing also demanded for immediate withdrawal of decisions made by the government and hold election on time in remaining four provinces on stipulated time, which is 28 June. The protesters believed that the decision to hold the election in third phase has given negative impact as Madhesh is an isolated place. The government also fixed the date for the third round of local election on September 18, for province number two which is a Madhesh dominant area. • -------------------------------------- • Subscribe now!
