Sight glass diagnostic of your mobile air conditioning system

1. Vacuum the sight glass and hose equipment • 2. Start the engine and switch on the A/C • 3. Connect HP hose to HP valve of the A/C system • 4. Open HP valve and fill the sight glass for about 2/3 • 5. Close the HP valve and wait for a few minutes to soothe the liquid • 6. Check and judge the refrigerant and oil condition • 7. Take pictures when necessary to explain your customer • 8. Recover the refrigerant from the sight glass: • If the A/C is OK: Connect LP hose. Keep filter and LP connection on top. Open the LP valve, start engine and switch on A/C • The compressor will recover the refrigerant from sight glass • In case the A/C is NG by wrong oil, two or more different oil layers or burned oil residue: Recover the refrigerant using the A/C Service Station • In case the A/C is NG by additives like sealer/leak stop: Recover the refrigerant using an additional filter or separate recovery equipment • http://www.nrf.eu
