A short description and mini review of Accutronics/Belton Engineering's Short Reverb Tank, available from: • http://www.hotroxuk.com/accutronics-b... • Its also available on eBay. When the Hoofbag first collected the reverb tank, after a long day without a car, having gone to the wrong Argos collection outlet and following a short kip (got ME/CFS) examination of the transducer coils' continuity was the initial test. The send coil read okay, about 50-60 ohms, although return end read open. It was speculated the out end might be a ceramic or pizo. Upon internal inspection, the usual coil transducer was found, confirming open circuit and therefor unserviceability. Having gone to so much trouble to get the thing, the decision was made to rewind the return coil. This was done with 40SWG enamelled copper wire and a hand drill, photo soon. Following a driver circuit build, the reverb tank proved to have a really nice sound! The only improvement I'd suggest is a clear plastic case, so the lovely internal engineering can be shown off! Although digital and other type ics are preferred for reverb, we wanted an authentic spring line reverb, hence the upload of this movie. A description of the support circuitry will be uploaded soon, probably in the solderless convention of our channel, on hoofbags. Thank you to Shrubbie Leaf for the video work and Tiggs for her guitar efforts. Also, thank you for watching and your interest in our movie. (o:
