Apart from the many industrial engineering applications, I find the concept of creating clothes that never have to be washed to be revolutionary. Think of all those college students! As innovative as we think new technology is, these concepts of nanoparticle technology and ultrahydrophobicity show us that we will always be one step behind nature. That is inspiration.
