Even I was shocked at how flavorful this dish turned out! It's the kind of recipe, that when you taste it, your eyes pop open in disbelief at how awesome it is! • I've made this recipe twice in one week, and have yet to have even a bite leftover for the next day. This is the kind of recipe that makes it easy to stay keto! • I pulled this orange sauce off Pinterest, and did not write down the site I got it from, and now I can't find it, so I am hanging my head in shame, but it is a copycat of PF Chang's orange sauce- minus the huge amount of sugar. • In all honesty, I DID tweak it a lot so....... • Keto Orange Chicken: • 5 servings: (Macros include 1c cauliflower rice) • 2.4. carbs per serving • 11g fat • 9.5g protein • 163 calories • Make sauce first and set aside: • 1 T fresh ginger • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced • 1/4t red pepper flakes (optional) • 1 T white wine vinegar • 5 T rice wine vinegar • 1 T sesame oil • 4T Amino Acids or Soy Sauce • 4 T sweetner of choice. We used Pyure https://amzn.to/36iVsen • zest of 1/2 fresh orange • 1 lb ground chicken. • You may also use rotisserie chicken and shred it, or bake chicken breasts and shred or chop them also. We just had ground chicken on hand and went with that. It added a certain element that was different, and I loved it! • After making sauce, brown the ground chicken (or turkey) in a skillet, add sauce, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. If you like your sauce a little thicker, mix 1/4t of xanthan gum with 2T of water and stir in well, before serving! Enjoy!
