We explore the Moreton-in-Marsh Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) Campsite, in the Cotswolds. • Our visit is in the summer holidays, a time we wouldn't normally choose for going away, but we fancied a change of scenery and to get out and about in our Roller Team Auto Roller 707 motorhome. • The site is large - 184 touring pitches, as well as glamping pods - and some of the pitches, including the one we stayed on, were quite tightly packed together. As it was busy, it did feel quite hemmed in. • It would have been helpful for reception staff to advise where pitches were vacant when it's busy. It's a big site with lots of different areas and isn't the easiest to manoeuvre around, so it was a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. Not too problematic in a motorhome but we felt sorry for those struggling to do it with a caravan. • The facilities blocks seemed to cope with the number of people on site, and also appeared to be respected by guests. The main one could probably do with updating, but we had no complaints about cleanliness. • Despite the busyness and proximity of other units, our first night was quiet and enjoyable. Unfortunately that couldn't be said for the second night, which was marred by noisy and inconsiderate people on the pitch behind us until late. It felt like just bad luck though, as from what we could tell, other people were being quiet and reasonable. • The great benefit of the site is its proximity to Moreton itself - only around 10 minutes on foot either along the main A44 or through the fields behind the site. • We would come back to the site as it was nice being able to leave the motorhome pitched and walk into Moreton, and the facilities were decent. However, it probably wouldn't be in peak season as it felt a bit too busy - not necessarily an issue specific to this campsite, but having pitches so close together emphasised the busyness and made us feel a bit less relaxed than we usually would. • Campsite: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-si... • Music: • https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/u... • Filmed in August 2023.
