Showing off catching the Legendary Dragon Pokemon, Rayquaza in Pokemon Omega Ruby • Just as with ALL legendary Pokemon, I suggest you paralyze it or put it to sleep. And with Rayquaza, I also recommend having very high level Pokemon so it doesn't utterly destroy you. • Now to actually find Rayquaza, you need to beat the main game first. After you end up defeating the elite four, there will be a cutscene which will show that a meteor is falling towards the planet. This is the beginning of the Delta Episode. After going through several areas (which I will leave a link at the bottom of the description for a proper guide), you will eventually be guided to the Sky Pillar, which is a hell of a lot different than the Sky Pillar in the original games. When you get inside, Zinnia will tell you all about the legend of the Draconian's, the race of people whom she is the last of, that prayed to Rayquaza as a deity thousands of years ago. As you make your way up, she'll tell you more and more about them, until you make it to the very top, where she'll summon Rayquaza. After this, she will try to make it Mega Evolve, but with no success. However, the Meteor you have in your bag will begin to react to it, prompting Rayquaza to eat the Meteor. Once that happens, Zinnia will go on about saying that YOU are Rayquaza's true master, and tell you to fight against it. So save your game at this point, and start the battle. • Rayquaza will be at level 70. It'll have the moves Fly, Dragon Pulse, Extreme Speed, and Dragon Dance, which means it could easily sweep your entire team if it sets up 2 or 3 Dragon Dances. So I actually recommend putting it to sleep rather than paralyzing, but paralyzing is just easier for me. Rayquaza by the way IS shiny locked, so don't bother soft resetting for a shiny one, as you can do it all day and you won't get it.
