This one offers very thin bezels along with a sleek profile that puts a 27 display in less of a footprint than some 24 displays were in a few years ago. Really attractive industrial design that masks its resolution short comings. • And that's the biggest problem with this display: its resolution. Running at 1080p on a display this size means you will see pixels a little more than might be noticed on a 15 or 17 display at this resolution. If you're using a laptop on a day to day basis with an HD display it will appear sharper than this display given that the same number of pixels are being displayed on a larger panel. 1440p would have been a better choice for this screen size but that of course would have made it difficult to hit sub $200 price point they have here. • But they did choose a nice panel for the display. It's an IPS display that offers a wide viewing angle and vibrant images. Resolution aside it really looks nice even when viewed off to the side. • The stand is relatively sturdy and offers a good degree of vertical angle adjustability for different seating heights. It does not, however, move up or down vertically and there does not appear to be an option for wall mounting. • It offers two HDMI inputs along with VGA. There are no built in speakers nor is there an audio pass through that some monitors of this class offer. Due to its slim size the power components are housed externally in a power brick. • In short if your budget is $200 this is a good value for an attractive display with great visuals.
