Indian writer Sooni Taraporevala shares her experience with Girl Rising and what it was like getting to know Ruksana, the girl in the film's India chapter. Taraporevala is an award-winning screenwriter of the feature films, Mississippi Masala, The Namesake and the Academy Award-nominated Salaam Bombay.
