In celebration of our beautiful company women, we share this sensational video of the Dance Theatre of Harlem women in the Odalisque Variations from Le Corsaire. Staged by Company Artist Dylan Santos, this ballet showcases the classical technique with the DTH flare. We are thrilled to celebrate the beauty of various shades of brown in tutus! The featured dancers are Amanda Smith, Alexandra Hutchinson, and Ingrid Silva! This footage is from their performance at the January 2020 International Associations of Blacks in Dance festival! The stunning costumes were designed and executed by our wardrobe mistress, Katy Freeman in collaboration with Dylan Santos and Virginia Johnson.
