Tameable and Rideable Ghasts Minecraft Halloween Special

Tame one today. Here is how: • Download the latest 1.12 carpet mod (compatible with your vanilla client and vanilla world (any 1.12.X version)) • turn tamed ghasts ON temporarily by typing /temprule rideableGhasts true , or /temprule setDefault rideableGhasts true for permanent effect (across server restarts) • Tame one: • rename to your player name with a name tag (creative option) • return to sender their fireball (more survival way of doing it) • hold a ghast tear to bring all the ghasts to you. • right click to mount • hold a ghast tear in main or off hand to control it • point with your face where you want to fly. • use WASD (arrows?) to move forward, backwards, left and right. • use jump (space?) to move up. • best to ride in third person camera F5 mode • hold a fire charges in the other hand to shoot with your ghast! • After you are done, you can always move back to your 1.12.X vanilla world with no changes to the world - just kill off all the remained named ghasts. • IMPORTANT • Ghasts have to be spawned or loaded after you set the temprule setting (that's how the AI is initiated, so there is not much one can do about it). • So if you tame one and then turn on rideableGhasts to true it may not follow your clues.
