When I told Katrina Burgoyne (my co-writer) of my idea, she immediately connected with the song, being an Australian based in Nashville USA, but without the ability to come home due to the difficulties caused by Covid border closures. By the end of the writing session we were both crying, imagining emotional reunion with our family” • • With the challenges of making a music video during lockdown, Amber already knew she had everything she needed from various overseas work and holiday trips that fit perfectly into the narrative of the song. Amber has included her travel videos from France, Italy, Thailand, The UK and the USA, with some emotional home coming footage.
