Cleveland Metroparks police officials and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office are asking for the public's help in identifying multiple suspects involved in last weekend's shooting at Edgewater Park. • According to a joint release, officials say multiple suspects exchanged gunfire just after 9 p.m. on Saturday. In all, 16 individuals are accused of brandishing weapons and several of them discharged their firearms. • A 17-year-old male suspect was taken into custody by Cleveland Metroparks police officers on Saturday and has been charged with felonious assault, discharging a firearm in a prohibited place, carrying concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, and receiving stolen property. • Metroparks officials reported that one victim was located on scene and transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released. • While Cleveland Metroparks police says it is going through a detailed and thorough investigation to identify those individuals involved and to hold them accountable, Crime Stoppers is now offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of persons responsible for the shooting. • Anyone with information related to the incident and individuals involved is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463. Tips may be submitted anonymously.
