How to smoke Beef Stew. Who needs a Slow Cooker when you have a Drum Smoker! We start off with a four-pound Chuck Roast and get it prepped and seasoned. Then we get all of our Vegetables and seasonings in the Cast Iron Pot. Once the Drum Smoker is ready - on goes the food. The Chuck Roast is cooked over the top style. After getting this thick Chuck Roast to internal temperature in the 120's I pull it off the Smoker. Time to cube it up and combine it with the rest of the ingredients in the Pot.
