This is part one of the legendary WLS with John Records Landecker doing his famous BOOGIE CHECK in 1977! - When AM radio didn't suck! • (Warning!! This recording is uncensored: You will hear the first caller cuss out John at 1:03! - and this was over a 50,000 watt AM Radio station that covered most of North America!) • I recorded this on a cheap MacDonald AM/FM-Cassette recorder in my bedroom in Oklahoma. The old K-Mart 90 minute cassettes were in rough shape after 33 years. I did my best to clean up the sound quality. It's still rough in spots, especially when the signal starts getting weaker.
