OMG What a lovely GRP roof

I was asked about this roof before they started to lay the GRP glass reinforced plastic and I was consulted about whether they should use a warm roof for a cold roof, but when I saw how bad the workmanship was. I explained that all the timber work was too wet and there was no way that you could lay a roof over the top of this, but nevertheless they went ahead and as the video shows you, this is what they did, the workmanship is some of the worst I've ever seen the glass fibre roof. GRP has just not been laid to any kind of standard, the very white area have not been saturated with enough resin and the whole roof has not been rolled down correctly to get rid of all the air bubbles not only that it was laid on top of a wet substrate. Unfortunately there's no way around this but to completely rip the whole thing up and start again. Obviously this was not installed by trained installers of GRP. Unfortunately, these days you can go down to any DIY shop and buy GRP products without having any training. A lot of general builders try their hand at installing a roofing system like this and use your property as their training ground.
