As Isamu looks at his brother, he deeply mourns him and promises that he'd find out what really happened to Senzai in Aogashima. Eventually, the characters venture into the depths of mysterious worlds. • The Witch Trials story follows a girl named Juno, who woke up into a forest. • There are going to be approximately four books, each of them with 1 main antagonist and extra Gamemodes like The Witch Trials or Jigoku each likely featuring at least four chapters and one beast to be the main antagonist, along with many others. • V || Gameplay • Control's Book/The Witch Trials • Chapters usually involve Yasu/Juno finding their way to escape mazes while avoiding the antagonists. The majority of mazes involves collecting keys or the butterfly spirits to open doors or passageways to proceed to the next part and/or room of the chapter. There are also puzzles and riddles needed to solve throughout the majority of each chapter. After getting caught by one of the many monsters in the mazes, the player will get jumpscared and respawn at the start of the maze. You will not respawn in Nightmare Mode, unless you purchase the revive gamepass, you can only revive three times. • V || Jealousy's Book • Chapters involve Isamu finding his way through different parts and places, all while avoiding the antagonists. Unlike Control's Book, though, there is a lack of mazes and the gameplay is more focused on exploring to escape the area. It can include collecting keys, lighting up candles, collecting orbs and so on. There are also different puzzles and riddles you have to solve in order to continue onto the next area. After getting caught by a monster, you'll get jumpscared and restart at the start of the area (though in some cases, you will only get knocked out and will have to be revived by another player unless you're playing solo or are fully dead).
