The Center for Music Therapy in Austin, TX includes the Gait Trainer (http://www.biodex.com/gait) as part of its music therapy program for movement disorders. The center uses music as part of the rehabilitation process to improve movement of patients with diseases such as traumatic brain injury, Huntington’s Disease and Parkinson’s disease. Patients use the Gait Trainer while listening to music to help them improve mobility.
