On the live Sullivan performance, Paul was obviously not able to double track his lead vocal OR add the high G# note he sings on the record ooohs because, well, he was singing the main melody. • What makes this like the Sullivan performance: • Rickenbacker 325 on rhythm guitar, unlike the record which was J-160E • Gretsch Country Gentleman on lead, actually audible during verses • A louder harmony vocal in the final verse, as Paul's voice drowns out George's • What makes this like the record: • It's a studio mix with double tracked lead vocals during verses • The backing vocals are 3-part harmonies, like the record • Enjoy!
