This is a recording of the conference Preventing dementia in the Nordics: Evidence-based measures across the life course, held in Stockholm on 4 September 2024. (Part 2/2) • The conference was part of the programme of the 2024 Swedish Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers. It was organised by the Swedish Ministry for Health and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Nordic Welfare Centre. • Currently an estimated 500,000 people in the Nordic countries have dementia, and the numbers are on the rise. As there is no existing cure, it’s vital to implement preventive measures that promote brain health and mitigate the challenges of living with dementia.
