Where are my 90s girls at? The joy this dollhouse brought me as a child was insane. I spent hours playing with it and picturing what my life would someday look like when I got to have my own family to take care of. This was one of the items I wanted to make sure got passed down. It was my favorite gift I ever received. 🎁 • And it did get kept, but it was stored in an outdoor shed, so it needed a lot of work. A couple of years ago I went to get it, but I gave up the moment I saw it. I thought it was too far gone. • Then for some reason this year I thought of it, and I told myself I was going to fix it. So I did. • I think for me this project was way more than just a little cleaning and some paint. It was a deep one. And it’s a reminder to me that no matter how far gone we think something is, or how bad we might feel in the moment, we have the power to transform our energy and use it for something positive. That’s a lesson that has taken me a long time to learn, but it’s the most powerful one. 💗 • - 📲.
