Edgardo Jose Gary Santiago Valenciano (born 6 August 1964), also known as Gary V. and Mr. Pure Energy, is a multi-awarded Filipino- Puerto Rican, singer-songwriter, musician, actor, music producer and TV host. Valenciano has released 39 albums, and won the Awit Awards (Song Awards) for Best Male Performer twelve times. In 1998, he became UNICEF Philippines' first National Ambassador, a title he presently continues to hold. His most notable recordings include Shout for Joy , Could You Be Messiah , Lead Me Lord , Di Bale Na Lang ( Never Mind ), Eto Na Naman ( Here We Go Again ), Each Passing Night , I Will Be Here , Sana Maulit Muli ( I wish It Happens Again ), Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?
