The Bosch VISIMAX: The Next Generation of Line Lasers feature tough, full rubber overmold housing, designed to be similar to a roll cage. The Bosch GLL100-40G Line Laser and the GCL100-40G Cross-Line Laser with Plumb Points each have deeply recessed windows help protect the laser glass. The laser emits green beams and points (up to 4X brighter than standard red beams). It features the Bosch-exclusive VisiMax™ technology, which delivers maximum beam brightness in most jobsite conditions. It provides highly visible lines and points while protecting the laser diodes from overheating. VisiMax™ constantly monitors the laser's temperature so the diodes are always driven to deliver the best line visibility while preserving the life of the tool. The Smart Pendulum System in this laser self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition, so that the user can have confidence in the accuracy of the measurements. The system locks the pendulum when it is switched off, to help preserve the tool's precision over time, making it one of the most robust lasers on the market. The laser withstands rainy or dusty jobsite conditions and is IP64 rated. For more secure transport, it also includes a hard carry case. The mount included in the package provides quick setup and extra-strong magnets.
