Todays story is called:, • Jesus Heals the Blind Man , • Scripture reference:, • John Chapter 9 Verses 1 to 12. • One day, as Jesus and His disciples were walking through a town, they saw a man sitting by the side of the road. This man was blind, which meant he couldn’t see anything. He had been blind his whole life and had to sit and ask people for help every day. • When Jesus’ disciples saw the man, they asked Jesus, “Why was this man born blind? Did he or his parents do something wrong?” • But Jesus said, “No, this happened so that God’s power could be seen in him.” • Then, Jesus did something very unusual. He bent down, spit on the ground, and made some mud with the dirt. Gently, He put the mud on the blind man’s eyes and told him, “Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam.” • The man obeyed Jesus, carefully finding his way to the pool. He washed his face, just as Jesus told him to. And then, something amazing happened! As soon as he washed away the mud, he opened his eyes—and for the first time in his life, he could see! The trees, the sky, the people around him—all of it was clear and bright! • When the man returned, everyone who knew him was shocked. They had only ever seen him as a blind man, sitting by the side of the road. “Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?” they asked. • “It’s me!” he said joyfully. • The people couldn’t believe it, so they took him to the religious leaders to explain what had happened. The man told them, “Jesus put mud on my eyes, I washed it off, and now I can see!” • Some leaders didn’t want to believe in Jesus’ power. But the man who had been healed said, “All I know is this: I was blind, but now I see!” • So what have we learned fopr this Parable? • Well, • Jesus showed His power by healing the man’s blindness, and this miracle taught everyone that God is kind, powerful, and cares about each person. Jesus wants us to trust Him, just like the blind man did, and to believe that God can do amazing things in our lives.
