Slow Pitch Jigging in Ecuador for Broomtail Grouper and Wahoo Temple Reef

Slow Pitch Jigging in Ecuador was cool. We were a little early in the season and, but we still manage to catch a couple grouper but the wahoo was nuts. Capt. Blanco of Magic Fishing in Puerto Lopez was amazing. He worked his but off to put us on the fish, we did not have best conditions but he made it work. His mate Marlon was a hard working kid and was awesome. This place has potential to land a monster on SPJ. The Victor Hugo hotel was very nice and the people are very welcoming. This is a must see, very affordable and easy, except the 3hr drive. You must rent a car and hotel in the city, before you make the drive in the morning because you get in around 12:30am.
