Hi #kNOwATAXIA Nation. Today, DidYouKnow is highlighting the third opportunity for you to participate in at the Annual #Ataxia Convention in Las Vegas. Listen in as DidYouKnow and Dr Schmahmann talk about the details and tell you how. • MINDlink Foundation AtaxiaandMe Rhode Island Ataxia Support Group • #CNRS #kNOwATAXIA #Ataxia #2019AAC • The Cerebellar Neuropsychiatric Rating Scale (CNRS) is a novel self-administered questionnaire that we are developing to help patients and families identify neuropsychiatric features that may be amenable to intervention to improve quality of life. We will be asking patients as well as healthy family members to complete these surveys, indicating the frequency of symptom presentation over the past six months, rated on a four-point scale (Never, Sometimes, Often, Almost, Always). Some other scales that test similar symptoms will be completed also, to be used a measure of validation of the new scale. The CNRS has the potential to be useful in people with cerebellar ataxia, because the preliminary version was derived from children and adults with ataxia, and it touches on many aspects of emotion and personal interactions that may be affected in people with ataxia. • iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/k... • SoundCloud   / user-536040137.  . • Facebook   / ataxiadidyou.  . • Website http://www.rideforjohn.org/ • Instagram   / ataxian_   • Twitter   / ataxiafacts
