Tried the Partas Luxury bus going to San Juan, La Union from their Cubao terminal. This is a 26-seater bus which includes a toilet. Each seat includes its own video console where one can charge one's gadgets via USB, watch movies, play games, etc. WiFi was available but actual service wasn't all that great. • Was under the mistaken impression that this was a non-stop bus, but then we had a 20-minute pit stop in Arnes bus stop in Sison, Pangasinan after getting out of the TPLEX expressway. I didn't eat, but was told food wasn't great and cold too. • What was most surprising and a little alarming was that we picked up passengers along the way. There were no available seats, and so these 6 guys either sat on one of the low stools along the center aisle from where I was seated until the back. Two guys chose to sit by the stairs leading down to the toilet. It was enough to detract anyone from getting up to use the loo. When a few passengers vacated the double seats, 3 of the guys made do and sat together. • 0:04 Google map from Partas bus station in Cubao to San Juan, La Union • 0:08 Biyaheroes online booking • 0:19 Partas bus terminal • 1:14 Aircon lounge • 1:45 Boarding the bus • 2:45 Bus video tablet with USB power port • 3:30 Entering the NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) Balintawak tollway • 4:27 Exiting the NLEX at Tarlac • 5:19 Entering the TPLEX (Tarlac Pangasinan La Union Expressway) tollway • 6:30 Exiting the TPLEX • 7:30 Turning to MacArthur Highway • 7:56 Arnes bus stop in Sison, Pangasinan for 20 min. • 8:52 Partial photo of guys who just boarded the bus (I thought premium buses didn't take on new passengers • Music: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free...
