When we started bucket drumming (The Mindful Maestros) at our Ridgeview Elementary Community Circle Celebrations it was 15 students playing once a quarter. Jump ahead 7 years , it's 25 to 30 drummers and the whole School body drumming once a month!! To see 400 kids sing and drum to • #taylorswift Shake It Off makes this old drummer smile ear to ear!!! Plus, it teaches focus, impulse control, math, following directions, goal setting, motor and social skills.
