Coming up alongside local legends like Freddy Fresh, Woody McBride, Paul Birken, DJ Slip, and DVS1, his approach to electronic music is unmistakably informed by his long involvement in underground electronic music culture. Earlier in his career, Autokinetic produced hard, 909-driven acid and now focuses on deeper, more spacious grooves. His full-hardware live performances have an unmistakable after-hours feel that is true to his roots. McClure also records and performs live as AutoClub with Craig Lambert (Midnight Music Club).
