Yes, you read that right. These particular voices cannot be used outside of Narrator. Though to be fair, most, if not all, of these voices are available on Azure. These are merely offline versions that Microsoft has not given 3rd parties the API to yet, and likely never will, sadly. You need either the latest moment update for Windows 11 version 22H2 or Windows 11 version 23H2 for these voices to appear in Narrator settings. Moreover, these are not available in the system settings nor the classic Control Panel, and using the registry tricks that were possible with Speech Platform and OneCore voices to bring them to SAPI5 is not possible due to being based on a completely new architecture. • #windows #narrator #tts
