Pork Chops are one of my favorite dinners. This one SLAPS! Recipe ⬇️ • 1. Prepare the Pork Chops: • Preheat your oven to 375°F • Rub the pork chops with olive oil, garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. • Heat a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minute. • 2. Cook the Grits: • In a large saucepan, bring water and milk to a boil. • Gradually stir in the grits, reduce the heat to low, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until thick and creamy. • Stir in the butter, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese. Keep warm. • 3. Prepare the Corn Maque Choux: • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. • Add the onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. • Stir in the corn, heavy cream, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, green onions, and garlic. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mixture is thickened and the vegetables are tender. Keep warm. • 4. Cook the Green Beans: • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. • Drain and immediately plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again. • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. • Add the green beans, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. • 5. Assemble and Serve: • Spoon a generous serving of grits onto each plate. • Top with a pork chop. • Add a serving of corn maque choux and green beans to each plate. • Serve immediately and enjoy! • Ingredients • 4 bone-in pork chops • 2 tbsp olive oil • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 1 tbsp paprika • 1 tbsp dried thyme • Salt and pepper to taste • Grits • 1 cup Quaker Grits • 3 cups water • 1 cup milk • 2 tbsp butter • Salt and pepper to taste • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese • Corn sauce • 2 tbsp butter • 1 medium onion, finely chopped • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped • 2 cups fresh corn kernels (or frozen, thawed) • 1 pint heavy cream • Salt and pepper to taste • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper • 2 green onions, chopped • 2 cloves garlic, minced • Green beans • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed • 2 tbsp butter • 2 cloves garlic, minced • Salt and pepper to taste • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes • #foodies #pork #porkchops #porkchop #delicious #good #recipe #recipes #cooking #instafood #igdaily #dinner #food #yum #instagood #foodporn #foodstagram #foodlover #foodgasm #instadaily #tasty #tastyfood #boneinporkchops #reels #reelsinstagram #reelsofinstagram #reelsviral #reelinsta #foodie #delciousfood
