In the 1960s, there were few anime companies on the market. One of the big ones to spawn was Tatsuo Yoshida's Tatsunoko Productions. A studio that went against the mold other anime studios were fitting into with realistic super heroes and intense fight scenes. One of my favorite of their heroes is the Robot Hero Casshern. A hero that's gone through many forms of reinvention. This video will go over all 4 of his major screen appearances, how the anime landscape impacted them, and the legacy of Casshern. • [BUSINESS EMAIL] • [email protected] • [SOCIAL LINKS] • ▪ BlueSky ▶ https://bsky.app/profile/novazone.bsk... • ▪ Twitch ▶ / novazoneplus • ▪ Patreon ▶ / novazone • ▪ Intro by ▶ / icarogabriel17 • Intro 0:00:00 • History 1 0:02:50 • Neo-Human Casshan 0:19:22 • History 2 1:02:34 • Robot Hunter Casshan 1:06:51 • History 3 1:23:20 • Casshern (Live-Action) 1:24:37 • History 4 1:34:18 • Casshern Sins 1:39:04 • Legacy 2:24:28 • • [SOURCES] (Not in any order) • Hiroshi Sasagawa Interview - https://akiba-souken.com/article/4755... • Tom Brevoort's Article on Tatsuo Yoshida's Superman - https://tombrevoort.com/2022/02/19/fo... • Shigeyasu Yamauchi Yoshihiko Umakoshi - Casshern Sins Interview - http://www.style.fm/as/13_special/min... • Gatchaman!
