How to make LED Chaser circuit with only 4017 IC

In this electronics project, I have shown how to make an LED Chaser circuit with only 4017 IC. I have used RGB Flashing LED instead of 555 timer IC to generate the clock pulse for the CD4017 IC. • Visit our website to download the PCB Layout for this sequential LED flasher circuit • https://easyelectronicsproject.com/mi... • I have shared the complete LED Chaser circuit diagram during the video, and here I have also shared the PCB layout of the chaser circuit. With that PCB Layout, you can design the PCB for this 4017 ic project using cardboard or Acrylic sheet. • Required components for 4017 LED Chaser circuit • 1. CD4017 IC • 2. 470-ohm 0.25-watt Resistors (2no) (R1, R2) • 3. RGB Flashing LED (5-mm) • 4. 5-mm LEDs (10 no) • 5. Connector IC Base • 6. 9V DC Adaptor • 7. Acrylic sheet or cardboard. • You can also connect the GATE of MOSFETs instead of LEDs to control multiple LED strings. Thus you can use this LED circuit for Diwali decor. • During the tutorial video, I have explained how to make homemade PCB from cardboard or Acrylic sheet for this type of mini-projects. • I have not used the 555 IC for the clock pulse, so the led light chaser circuit is simple and can be designed easily at the home. • Please use a 9V adaptor instead of the 9V Battery.
