Australia and India contested the third Quarter Final in the Men's Hockey World League. The Kookaburras' recorded a 5-1 victory to take them through to Friday's Semi Finals. • The game wasn't even two minutes old before Australia was on the score sheet. Glenn Simpson converted a short corner move. • Matt Gohdes doubled the Kookaburras' advantage after twenty minutes, a powerful strike from distance. • India responded immediately. A defensive blunder from Kiel Brown teed up Chinglensana Singh Kangujam who blasted in a shot from the edge of the D. • Australia scored again a minute later to restore their two goal advantage. Sandeep Singh deflected the ball into his own net after Eddie Ockenden lashed a cross into the D. • The goals kept on coming.
