Join American Lyric Theater for InsightALT - February 22nd and 23rd - a festival exploring the creative process behind making new operas. This weekend celebration features concert readings of three operas in development at ALT, alongside invigorating discussions with the composers and librettists creating them: • • THE OPPOSABLE THUMB, an allegory about war embedded with comedy and deep humanity by Liliya Ugay and Julian Crouch. • • SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE FALLEN GIANT, a magical mash-up of a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle mystery, set in the land of fairytales, by Evan Meier and E.M.
