The mega Activated Carbon plant inaugurated by Syensqo in Spinetta Marengo in the presence of local institutions and media represents a further new step towards the goal of the so-called technical zero emissions in the Alessandria chemical plant. The design of this innovative plant, aimed at treating industrial cooling and rainwater, began in 2022 and construction works were completed in record time in just one year. Already launched in mid-2023, the Activated Carbon plant is now fully operational.
