3 Things I Hate About My 500 Abarth 595 Competizione

This video is about 3 things I hate about my 500 Abarth 595 Competizione. Abarth have been known to make some epic cars and the abarth 500 / abarth 595 is definitely one of them. However, this doesn’t mean that there are not a few things that really frustrate me about my 500 abarth/595 abarth. My Abarth 595 Competizione has been fitted with the Sabelt seats that come standard on the 595 Abarth Competizione. The seating position in general on the Abarth 500 is generally higher than on most other hot hatchs and you sometimes feel that you are seated quite high within the car. If you are tall like me then the Competizione Abarth 595 is very familiar with your head touching its roof! The other thing that I find a struggle with on the Competizione 595 Abarth is the Toy style boost gauge that comes on the car. In my opinion its too large and really doesn’t look great. I have always wanted to replace the stock boost gauge with something like a defi boost gauge but haven’t had the time to get one or have it installed yet. My Modified Abarth 500 competizione is a little beast in my eyes and the abarth’s have a much more aggressive look to them than the fiat 500 with regards to body kits, engine suspension and feel however there is still a stigma attached to the Abarth 595 competizione or any of the abarth range infact. It is known to a large proportion to the world as a fiat 500 which is frustrating however even more frustrating is that loads of people tell me “Ahhh that’s so cute” They tell me my Modified 500 Abarth competizione is CUTE!? Arggh so annoying. I personally think it looks aggressive and with the modifications I have done to my Abarth 595 has made it look much more aggressive. So in summary, Abarth Seat position, cute abarth, abarth 500 boost gauge are the 3 things I hate about the car. Still the things I love about the car significantly outweigh the things I hate about my abarth 500.
