He was born as Nicholas Daniel Miller in Illinois, USA in a small village called Downer's Grove. He grew up in different regions like Seattle and even France, before his family settled in San Francisco. In 2008 he started producing electronic music and in 2013 he moved to Denver where he still resides. He then completed his first self-titled EP that year. One year he released his 2nd EP called 'Risen', both were released independently. His 3rd EP 'Painted White' then was relased in 2015. • In 2016 Illenium released his first studio album 'Ashes' which reached #6 in the US Dance Album Charts and also charted in the Top 20 of the Heatseeker albums. After a couple of single charted in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart he released his 2nd studio album 'Awake' in 2017. It reached the Top 200 US Billboard Album Charts and peaked at #3 in the US Dance Album Charts. • His 3rd studio album 'Ascend' was released in 2019 and peaked at #14 in the US Album Charts while topping the US Dance Album Charts. The single 'Good Things Fall Apart' with Jon Bellion reached the Top 3 of US Dance Charts, as did 'Takeaway', a collab with 'The Chainsmokers' which also reached the Hot 100 US Single Charts where it peaked at #69. • His 4th studio album 'Fallen Embers' was released in 2021 and peaked at #49 in the US Album Charts while again topping the US Dance Album Charts. • Here now I present to you my favorite 10 songs of this very exciting and talented DJ, hope you enjoy!
