High sulfur concentrations found in sulfaterich veins on Mars by Curiosity Rover

NASA's Curiosity Rover's discovery of sulfate-rich veins on Mars is highlighted. The rover used various instruments to identify and analyze the mineral composition of these veins. Images made by MAHLI camera instrument. The presence of sulfate-rich veins suggests the possibility of past liquid water on the Martian surface. • The ChemCam X-ray diffraction instrument provided evidence of minerals consistent with sulfates in the veins, while the APXS detected high concentrations of sulfur associated with these features. This data supports the theory of aqueous alteration, where water interacts with Martian rock over time. To visualize these findings, high-resolution 4K images of the sulfate veins captured by Curiosity Rover has been analyzed.
